GA4 · Google Tag Manager · Consent Mode v2
Analytics implementation for B2B websites: see which campaigns bring enquiries
I configure GA4 and Google Tag Manager to measure every contact from your website: forms, phone clicks, emails and copied addresses. The lead source goes into your CRM, and Google Ads learns from real enquiries, not just visits.
- Fixed price before we start
- I work in your accounts, the data stays with you
- All tags Consent Mode v2-compliant
- 11+ years in analytics, 150+ companies
B2B analytics implementation
GA4, Google Ads, forms and CRM

- lead source and GCLID in hidden CRM fields
- Google Ads conversions without double counting
- testing before publishing
Consent Mode v2, Clarity, LinkedIn and Meta in the complete package
Why B2B analytics fails
On a B2B website, most enquiries never go through the form
The default GA4 setup counts page views and submitted forms. In B2B that is not enough to judge campaigns or decide on budget.
Contacts you cannot see
A prospect copies your email address or taps your phone number. GA4 sees a visit without a goal, and Google Ads decides the campaign does not work.
Leads without a source
The enquiry lands in your CRM with no information about where it came from. You cannot connect a signed contract with the campaign that started it.
A banner that cuts out data
A badly connected CMP either blocks tags or fires them without consent. In the first case you lose data, in the second you risk GDPR compliance.
What I implement
The full B2B customer journey: from ad click to lead in your CRM
Contact tracking in GA4
Email and phone clicks, copied contact details, engaged visits and map clicks. No personal data in GA4.
Form leads
A generate_lead event only after a successful submission. Contact Form 7, Elementor, Gravity Forms, HubSpot or a custom form.
Lead source in your CRM
First and last visit source, campaign and GCLID with every lead. The basis for importing offline conversions, such as a signed contract.
Google Ads conversions
Email, phone and form contacts as conversions, at most one per page view. I set which ones are primary, so nothing is counted twice.
Consent Mode v2 and CMP
Your consent banner integrated with GTM. Tags fire according to the user’s decision, and Google models the missing conversions.
Microsoft Clarity
Free heatmaps and session recordings. See where visitors scroll, click and drop off. Clarity starts only after consent.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
LinkedIn campaign conversions, remarketing audiences and data on the industries and job titles of people visiting your website.
Meta Pixel
Lead events for Facebook and Instagram campaigns, fired after marketing consent.
Server-side and BigQuery
When you need resilience against ad blockers or reports from raw data, I extend the setup with server-side GTM and BigQuery export.

How I work
Four steps, and you know the price before we start
I make changes in a separate GTM workspace. Nothing reaches your website until it passes testing.
Free consultation
We agree what counts as a lead in your company and go through your forms, CRM and campaigns. After the call you get a fixed price and deadline.
Access, no passwords
You add me as a user in GTM, GA4 and optionally Google Ads, and for the complete package also in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Business.
Implementation
I configure the tags, forms and hidden CRM fields. When a form needs code changes, you get ready instructions for your developer.
Testing and sign-off
I check every event in GTM Preview, DebugView and Google Ads diagnostics. I publish when everything matches.
Who implements your analytics
Marcin Miłowski, web analytics consultant
I have worked in analytics and online marketing for more than 11 years and delivered projects for over 150 companies. I implemented analytics for Inter Cars, ran PPC and measurement for Vercom (EmailLabs, PushPushGo) and trained teams at Orange and 4F.
I work on my own, so you talk to the person who implements. I work alongside your developers or agency, and I deliver white-label projects for agencies.
Questions before the implementation
How long does the implementation take?
I give you the deadline after the consultation, together with the fixed price. Matching forms and CRM fields usually takes the longest, because it sometimes needs a developer. Configuring GTM itself is fast, because I start from a proven template.
We already have GTM and GA4. Do you start from scratch?
No. I review your existing tags first. What works correctly stays, and duplicates and old tags go. If the account needs a bigger clean-up, I will suggest a GA4 and GTM audit.
What access do you need?
Publish rights in GTM, the Editor role in GA4 and standard access in Google Ads. For the complete package, also LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Business. I never need passwords.
Is Microsoft Clarity GDPR-compliant?
Clarity records sessions, so it requires user consent. Since 31 October 2025 Microsoft requires websites to send a consent signal for EEA traffic. I configure Clarity to start only after consent from your banner and check data masking in forms.
Will the implementation slow down the website?
I fire tags through a single GTM container, without extra WordPress plugins. Ad tools and Clarity load only after consent, so they put no load on the page for users who decline.
We do not have a consent banner. What then?
I choose and implement a CMP with Consent Mode v2. You pay the subscription directly to the provider, and for a small website the free plan is often enough. Details and prices are on the Consent Mode v2 implementation page.
Let’s talk about your website’s analytics
In a free consultation we will find which contacts slip past you today. After the call you get a fixed implementation price.
